A Chippenham man has been sentenced to 16 years imprisonment for sexual offences against a child he committed in the 1980s.
David Acres, 64, of Fleet Road, was found guilty of indecent assault and buggery at a re-trial at Swindon Crown Court on April 29. He was sentenced today (Tuesday, May 10).
The offences date back to the early 80s when the male victim was aged between nine and 16 years old.
