A Somerset man who was more than double the drink drive limit when he was found asleep in his car with the engine running has had the case against him dropped, after he claimed he had no intention of driving the vehicle.
Terrence Kurt Phillips said he had decided to sleep in his vehicle after attending a works Christmas party in Wincanton and had turned on the engine to warm the car up but then fell asleep.
