A man who pulled out into the path of an oncoming car causing a collision and then drove off without stopping has been sentenced to a community order by the courts.
Thomas Naylor later told police he had panicked following the accident which left the driver and passenger in the other vehicle suffering from whiplash type injuries.
And when he appeared in the dock before Somerset Magistrates they were told that he was already subject to a driving ban after admitting a drink driving offence...
