A banned driver who was allegedly caught drunk at the wheel after being found driving through a country lane in Podimore had his case adjourned after his car broke down.
Christopher Welch, 30, of Queen Elizabeth Road, Grimsby, is charged with driving a Peugeot vehicle in Church Street, Podimore, after consuming excess alcohol on February 22.
The charge detailed that a police breath test produced a reading of 61mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath - the legal limit is 35mcg of alcohol.
