A hoaxer whose false bomb warning caused up to 15 frail and elderly patients to be evacuated from a care home has been handed a suspended sentence.
Kebab shop worker Paul Morgan, aged 64, of Otterford Travellers' Park, near Taunton, rang the Old Galleries Home in Bideford out of spite after a dispute with staff who had stopped him visiting one of the patients.
They were concerned about his contact with the elderly woman and wanted to ensure he was not trying to exploit her.
