A farmer who pointed a shotgun at his neighbour and threatened to shoot him during an argument over sheep worrying has been jailed for 10 months by a judge today.
Robert Norman, 52, of Hill View, Wiveliscombe, was told by Judge David Ticehurst: "This would have been a terrifying incident for anyone who witnessed it. No matter how far you had been provoked, your reaction was wholly inappropriate and unjustified."
