A Frome man who admitted a string of shoplifting offences committed in a number of towns across Somerset narrowly avoided being sent to prison when he was given a suspended sentence.
Simon Edward John Norris had fallen back into using class A drugs following the breakdown of his relationship and went on a four month spree of offending, targeting shops in Frome, Shepton Mallet and Bristol.
