A Chard care worker who sold a phone he said he found in a takeaway restaurant admitted theft when he appeared in court.
Thomas Russett said he found it at McDonald's in Yeovil.The phone had originally been stolen from its owner who left it in her jacket at a Yeovil pub.After keeping it for a month Russett went to trade it in at a phone recycling company - but it was identified as having been stolen.
