A mind-bending drug which can send people into a zombie-like stupor may have claimed its first life in Somerset.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary says the death of a man in Taunton may have resulted from the use of a psychoactive substance.
Police have also reported instances in Taunton of
people taking Spice and falling ill. It is urging people in Somerset not to take the drug.
Spice is often referred to as a legal high, but the law changed in 2016 to make its possession illegal.
