A man who carried out a vicious attack on his wife after they had been drinking at a pub has been given a suspended prison sentence by magistrates.The court was told that Thomas Howe had been feeling stressed with financial difficulties and pressures at work when he lost his temper.He had downed lager, whiskey and shots when he slapped her face and then punched her in the bedroom causing her to fall to the floor.He then dragged her across the room by her arms and hair and pushed her backwards...
