The overwhelmingly majority of you would probably say yes and it seems the latest police crime statistics largely back this up.
Figures for "violent and sexual" crime reports from September 2016 show that none of our local towns have a particularly high rate for this type of offence.
Out of all the crimes reported to the police that month, two towns have a violent and sexual crime rate of 27% - the worst performer had a 32% figure.
