A 31-hour stand-off has ended.
Police had been negotiating with a man at a property since 5pm on Thursday, but the incident came to an end at 1.15am on Saturday morning.
The man was taken to the BRI in Bristol, but police said they could not confirm the nature of his injuries.
Police had been called to the Park Road property in Bristol over concerns for a man's welfare.
There had also been reports that he was in possession of a weapon and had made threats to kill.
