The victim of a brutal homophobic attack is hoping to inspire others to speak out as the man who left him 15 minutes from death prepares to spend Christmas behind bars.
56-year-old David Ryan was walking home from the Bird in the Hand pub on New Year's Eve when he was savagely attacked by Henstridge boxer and cage-fighter Keith Moult.
