A stolen pick-up truck was used in a ram-raid of a community shop.
Thieves stole the truck and then drove it into the shop at a lorry service station close to Junction 17 of the M4.
The incident at the Chippenham Pit-Stop happened at around 11.30pm on Friday night.
The thieves put a chain around a free-standing cash machine and dragged it out. The truck was later abandoned in a field.
