A 24-year-old accused of smashing a glass over another male's head near a Chard pub has had his case adjourned for a psychiatric assessment.Max Ryan Hartley was said to have been caught on CCTV committing the offence near the Dolphin Hotel but claimed he had no recollection of what happened.Hartley, of no fixed address, was charged that on December 23 at Chard he assaulted Michael Druce by beating.He did not enter a plea when he appeared before Somerset Magistrates in Yeovil.Defending solicitor...
