Angry after losing thousands of pounds because of his gambling addiction, a man threw a chair in frustration at a slot machine in a Yeovil betting shop.
The manager of the Ladbrokes store in Middle Street witnessed the offence, but Gordon Parker left before he could be detained.
He later admitted the offence after being arrested for a separate matter of assault. He said he was addicted to gambling and that was the reason for the offence.
