Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Taunton earlier this month.The 55-year-old victim was walking along Queen Street at around 2pm on Saturday, July 16, holding a bag of shopping and a purse.A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: "A man came up behind the victim and tried to snatch the purse, resulting in a struggle.
