Dorset Police have urged Sherborne residents to be vigilant following a "suspicious incident" which occurred near the town on Friday (July 22).
The incident in question involved two male occupants of a white van who requested entry to a property in Sandford Orcas, just north of Sherborne.
The two men told the occupant of the property they were from BT and requested entry, stating that they were there to fix a fault on the line.
