A man who violently shook a six-month-old boy and hit his head against a hard surface leaving him severely disabled has been jailed for four-and-a-half years.Benjamin Pople, 30, of Woolavington, was found guilty of GBH following a trial at Taunton Crown Court.Pople had denied causing the injuries to the boy which left him with a significant bleed on the brain, retinal haemorrhages and a fractured skull.As a result of the assault in Bridgwater in November 2015 the boy is now severely disabled and...
